By road Mt Buller is just a 3 hours drive from Melbourne. Snow chains must be carried at all times during the season and fitted as directed. Snow chains can be hired from Mansfield, which is the base town. The alpine views are spectacular as you ascend up the hill. Coach

You can fly into Melbourne with any commercial airline. Resort Parking
A few kilometers outside Mt Buller Village you will be met by a parking attendant who will direct you to overnight parking spaces which are indicated by large red signs throughout the resort. Parking attendants are also around to assist and guide you to the appropriate parking areas. Resort Entry Fee
When you arrive at the base of Mt Buller you will be required to pay an entry fee. Resort entry fees contribute significantly to the costs of providing a wide range of services and facilities. These include:
Environmental Management, Snow Clearing (Mt Buller Road from Mirimbah to the Village), Car Parking, Day Shelters and Public Toilets, Water for Snowmaking, Slope Management, Toboggan Runs and more. Village Transport
Mt Buller has a free intra-Village shuttle bus that runs daily from 8am- 6pm, and until midnight on Saturdays. It stops at clearly marked points around the Village. Three bus routes are available and they can be identified by colour – red, blue and yellow. On Mountain Services
